To ensure effective and efficient operation
of the Service Teams, and Workshop
Facility.
• To coordinate personnel, materials
and the appropriate equipment to ensure
customer contracts are produced
to the relevant quality and cost standards
in a
safe, timely and efficient
manner.
• To ensure all work procedures and
documentation (such as Issuance of Work
orders, Internal Purchase Requests,
Stock Transfers, etc) are carried out and
improvements are made leading
to a LEAN process.
• To identify and develop personal
within the workforce to meet the requirements
of the dynamic market environment
which the company serves.
• To develop a TQM culture within
the company.
• Be the company’s Heath and
Safety Manager.
• Ability to bring out the best from
the individual worker.
Main duties
(in order of priority)
•
Management of the Service Team and Workshop
facilities 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week, controlled through
the ICs and Team Leaders.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operation
and control of the Service Teams and
Workshop facilities to ensure
all equipment and machinery is maintained
and
safe for operation by personnel.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operation
and control of the Service Counter,
Service Team and Workshop.
• To ensure all personel are adequately
trained for their job.
• Support the Sales department through
the Service Teams.
• Support the Logistics Department
in area of executing movement of orders
or
shipments.
• Any other related duties as directed
by Operations Manager.
• Responsible for all disciplinary
measures within the Service Teams and Workshop
facility to ensure a high standard
of achievement and performance is maintained.
• Assist in the implementation of
the “5S” programs within the
Service Teams,
Workshop Facility and Building
premises.
• Responsible for the development
of the employees under job holder’s
control and
their roles within the organization.
• Issuance of various reports as necessary.
• Review weekly performance of the
factory and compare against planned
activities to ensure optimum
efficiency.
• Ensure that all methods of Service
Jobs are reviewed, analyzed and reported
against.
• Investigate and report potential
areas of improvement within areas of control.
• Ensure the effective enforcement
of government and company Health and Safety
rules in the factory.
• Ensure that all control documentation
complies with company and customer
procedures, documentation is
available, current and understood at the
appropriate time for actions
to be carried out.
