Position: Client Relationship Manager
Candidates for the position of Client Relationship Manager will possess strong alternative asset industry experience and a strong investment partnership accounting background.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to manage a number of significant relationships.
Candidate will form part of the Senior Management of an expanding and dynamic organisation.
 
Key Responsibilities
i) Client Engagement
• Responsible for the relationship with one of the largest financial institutions in the
   region to whom Mourant provides fund services
• Responsible for overseeing smaller relationships
• Manage and maintain day-to-day communications with the client(s)
• Manage communications with investment professionals, other client personnel,
    investors, attorneys, auditors, bankers, etc.
• Thorough review and understanding of investment fund legal documents,
    including complete understanding of partnership allocations and distribution
    waterfalls
• Participate in Annual Fee reviews with the Client
ii) Service Delivery
• Project manage the delivery of services to the client ensuring sufficient resources
   are available and deadlines are met
• Coordinate discussion and documentation of portfolio investment valuations with
   clients
iii) Service Quality
• Full review of administration work performed by staff on the client service team,
   including capital calls and distributions and notices to be disseminated to
   investors
• Full review of accounting workpaper packages, financial statements and other
   reports and communications for several clients
• Lead Client Service Reviews with the Managing Director of the office
iv) Technical
• Assist with implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Assist with execution and implementation of international accounting standards
   and other technical accounting pronouncements
v) People Management
• Line management responsibility for the people in the client service team.
• Assist with development and implementation of training all levels of accounting
   staff
vi) Other Responsibilities
• Integrate new business
• Coordinate and manage special client and corporate projects
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have a background in the alternative asset industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong people management skills
• Ability to participate in new business opportunities
• Project management, client service, and technology skills
• Team player
• Qualified accountant (ACA/CPA)
• Understanding of partnership agreements
• Experience with Investran is preferable, but not necessary
COMPENSATION
• Compensation will be commensurate with experience
• Bonus discretionary
