Position: Director of Operations
Our Client is a Global leader in
the innovation of household health and lifestyle
products. In view of the opening of their new
plant and expansion plans for the region, they
are seeking to hire a top-notch Director of Operations
for their Plant in Singapore.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and run the operations in a manner that
systematically improves quality and
operational performance
• Partner with senior leadership and the team
to develop and execute overall service
program strategy and business objectives.
• Translate business/program vision, strategy
and brand into operational tactics and
building the necessary organizational support
and infrastructure.
• Establish post implementation strategy, goals
and metrics to mitigate program risks
• Facilitate leadership team in the establishment
of organizational goals and priorities
to align and focus the operations organization.
• Establish business metrics required to meet
contractual requirements and achieve
financial viability targets related to business
operations.
• Establish and oversee controls to ensure correct
operational processes, staffing and
success measure are in place.
• Ensure contractual agreements, performance guarantees
and business obligations are met/exceeded.
• Provide leadership and guidance to support the
development and management of consumer,
customer, vendor and/or key internal relationships.
• Complete ongoing assessment of operating business
risks/opportunities and identify
strategies to mitigate/capitalize as appropriate.
• Establish issue escalation and resolutions process
to address key operational issues and
needs
• Develops, translates and execute key provider
and member relations strategies or functional/operational
objectives including but not limited to provider
and member service standards
• Ensures all products meet quality and customer
performance standards.
Experience and Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Mechanical
Engineering or other Industrial discipline gained
from full-time study in recognized institutions.
MBA or equivalent is desired.
• 10 to 15 years solid operations management
experience gained from the manufacturing
sector
• Working knowledge of ERP system (Shop
floor control, inventory management).
• Must be fluent in English and have good
level of computer literacy.
• Familiar with matrix organisational structures
